Before- and after-care specifics

Before- and after-care is for children from kindergarten to 5th grade. We provide transportation to and from the Nederland schools and just from Port Neches schools, but unfortunately do not have transportation to or from the middle schools.

Please make sure your child is fed before bringing them to before-school care. Before-school care is available from 6:30 AM - 7:15 AM, and offers a relaxed environment for your child to wait in.

After-school care lasts from 3:15 PM - 6:00 PM. We provide your children with an afternoon snack and both homework time and outdoor playtime. We'll help your children with their homework, but encourage you to go over it with them at home.

Summer camp

In addition to the care we provide during the school year, your child can also enjoy our fun and affordable summer camp programs. We provide summer camp for school-aged children up to 12 years old.

We have a camp fee that is due at the beginning of the summer. This pays for the field trips we take and is expected in full even if there are some trips your child can't go on. We also have permission slips that must be filled out before your children can go on the field trips. We take at least 3 trips a week, usually at midday.

If you want more detail on where your child is going and what they'll be doing, we offer daily schedules. Your child will enjoy both healthy, active outdoor time and science time, where we'll encourage them to learn. We also offer quiet indoor playtime.
